Before the Ranil-Sirisena administration decides to manipulate the facts let us look at the ACTUAL world happiness report.
Sri Lanka scored at 117 from 2013 to 2015.
We do not think that the current administration should in any way or form assume that the people are happier than they were before.
War affected Sri Lanka ranked at 132.
This level has significantly improved in the years after terrorism was brought to an end.
The Ranil dicatorship will reflect on the Happiness Index only by 2017 – that is if they dont manipulate the results (lets not talk about the colombo election result fiasco!).
The fallacy of websites taking citations that have misinterpreted the ratings only helps politicians manipulate these ratings to their advantage by citing “secondary” sources without checking the primary source.
Pakistan is rated as one of the most happy nations with a ranking of 92!
